2018-2019 Registration Information

We are enjoying the 2018-2019 school year, our SEVENTH YEAR preparing students for college!!

Registration for some classes still being accepted!!

We have new classes to augment our great program.  
Feel free to direct any of your homeschool friends or groups that might be interested in learning more about Star Academy classes to this site.  As you look at our registration information, please be sure to read our expectations and rules carefully to be sure they will be a good fit for you and your family. 

2018 ~ 2019 Information

Every student (and a parent) attending Star Academy Class Day must complete all pages of the registration process. 

A few things we would like to point out:

  • Parents will sign up (Volunteer SignUp Site) for at least two full days (either 2 full days or 4 mornings/afternoons) to stay and help monitor students not in class.  Parents who want to opt-out of this duty must pay $60 ($30 per day) with registration to Star Academy. (Payments made after August 1 will be $40 per day.) This money will be used to hire a paid parent substitute to serve in your place.
  • ALL students must have internet access.
  • You will need to complete a separate packet for each student attending Star Academy Class Day.
  • When filling out the family information and student information forms, please use the scroll bar on the form page (not the usual one on the far right - but the one just to the left of that one). You will need to enter things all the way down until you see the submit button. If you do not click submit on EACH page, your registration will not be complete and your student will not be enrolled in classes.
  • You must click submit at the end of each page.
  • PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY ... You are signing these forms digitally (which is the same as signing paper) and will be held to what you sign.
  • There is one form to be filled out and submitted with your checks: "Class Registration & Payment"
    • This form breaks down the cost of each class and tells how much is owed.
    • Please be sure to choose "fit to page" when you print this.
    • Please fill out all but the right column.
  • If you want to figure out exactly what will be due on registration day, go to the "Class Registration & Payment" form. 
    There you will find each class's tuition and lab, book, copy, etc. fees.
    You may verify the correct payment to be made by contacting staracademyclassday@gmail.com or (210) 570-6410.
  • Due at registration:
    • registration fee ($60 or $75 based on receipt of payment for registration)
    • one part of the annual tuition for each class, plus any lab/book/copy fees
Please make out separate checks: one to Star Academy Class Day for the registration fee, and one to each teacher for tuition and fees.
